Platte County R-3 Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) is a high school organization focusing on Family and Consumer Sciences education.  FCCLA  is a national Career and Technical Student Organization that provides personal growth, leadership development and career preparation opportunities for students in FACS education.  Platte County  R- 3 FCCLA is a student led organization that has the family as its central focus. FCCLA members have been making a difference in their families, careers and communities by addressing important personal, work, and societal issues through FACS education.  Involvement in FCCLA offers members the opportunity to expand their leadership potential and develop skills for life -- planning, goal setting, problem solving, decision making, and interpersonal communication -- necessary in the home and workplace.  If you are interested in empowering individuals, families and communities then FCCLA is the organization for you.
